Professor Harry Rosenzweig passed away last Friday night at age 72.  He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in August.

Dr. Rosenzweig taught math at McDaniel College since 1971, and was chairman of the Math and Computer Science Department from 1984 to 1995.

“The things that immediately come to mind when I think of Harry are personal integrity, program integrity, devotion to teaching, to his students, to his department, to the liberal arts, to his institution, and to his family,” said Dr. Robert Boner in the eulogy he gave at a faculty meeting today.  For the full eulogy, including quotes from his past students, click here.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 9, at 12 PM at Sol Levinson & Bros., Inc.
