Have news you want us to cover?
To publicize your event, highlight a member of your organization, raise awareness about an issue on campus, or otherwise get the word out, email email@example.com! Tell us who to contact, what the story is, and by when you’d like the story to be covered, and we’ll pass the information along to our reporters. Learn more about us sending story ideas here.
Want to submit a letter to the editor?
If you have an opinion about something, or feedback about the McDaniel Free Press, we want to know. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your letters to the editor. All letters will be published to the relevant section on our site, and a selection of these will go in our monthly print issues. Letters may be anonymous, but we reserve the right to not publish hate speech and other rude statements veiled in anonymity.

Interested in joining the Free Press?
Come to a meeting! The Free Press staff gathers in the Writing Center computer lab in Hill Hall every Wednesday night at 8 p.m. The Free Press office is located in Hill Hall 111. If you can’t make the meetings, you can still be a part of the publication—just email email@example.com and we’ll help get you set up.
We’re looking for writers, photographers, copy editors, videographers, designers, and cartoonists. Don’t fit into one of those categories but still want to contribute? Don’t worry—we will find a place for you.
