Marya Kuratova ’20
Marya joined the Free Press as a sophomore and was promoted to assistant editor in her second semester before taking on a dual role as copy and co-features editor her junior year. She is excited to serve as Editor-in-Chief of both the Free Press and the Contrast literary magazine her senior year. Marya is an English major with minors in journalism and writing. Erin Pogue ’20
Erin is a senior history major and literature minor and is a member of the Honors Program. She has previously served as a staff reporter and co-features editor. Erin enjoys studying Latin. Read her favorite article.
Laurel Pogue ’20
Laurel first joined the editorial staff as an assistant editor her sophomore year before promoting to arts and culture editor her junior year. Laurel is an English and environmental studies double major, is minoring in biology, and is a member of the Honors Program. She has played the trombone for 10 years. Gunnar Ward ’21
Gunnar joined the Free Press as a staff reporter the first semester of his freshman year before promoting to assistant editor in his second semester. He served as sports editor his sophomore year.
