Phi Sigma Sigma’s Teddy bears helping Cystic Fibrosis

As you walk through the McDaniel College campus, you can’t help but notice the sorority girls proudly wearing their letters. One particular sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma, not only has beautiful members but sisters who are very giving as well. The women are very involved in community service. One particular project that is very close to their hearts is working for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This spring, the sorority will be selling adorable teddy bears from Plushland.com which have the inscription “I Love Green Terror” and “I Love Phi Sigs,” on their chest. The Phi Sigma Sigma’s will sell the bears for seven dollars each, with five dollars of the proceeds benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the remaining two dollars going to the web site company Plushland.com. The Sorority will be selling these teddy bears in upcoming McDaniel events. As well as going to go door to door in the residence halls selling them to students. The members of Phi Sigma Sigma would greatly appreciate the support of the Carroll County community for this wonderful cause which will benefit many children afflicted with this Cystic Fibrosis. If you are interested in purchasing a teddy bear, please contact Christina Hinkle, in charge of philanthropy in the sorority, at ceh007@mcdaniel.edu.
