Thursday 11/14

COLTS VS. TITANS
Kelsey says:
Colts 24, Titans 21
The Colts’ offense will have a tough time against the Titans’ top-10 defense. Having said that, the Titans lost to the Jaguars who were 0-8 before the game, and the Colts lost last week as well, even though they beat the Broncos earlier this season. I think the Colts will pull off the much-needed win.

Calder says:
Colts 27, Titans 10
After last week’s loss to the Rams, the Colts will bounce back with a big win on Thursday night.

Sunday 11/17

JETS VS. BILLS
Kelsey says:Jets 27, Bills 21
With both teams struggling in the passing game, the Bills’ rushing abilities will test the Jets’ defense. Coming off of a bye week, the Jets should be healthy enough to beat the Bills.

Calder says:
Jets 23, Bills 20
With the Jets coming off a bye week and the Bills suffering a big loss today to the Steelers, the Jets will seal the win in this big divisional rivalry match.

BROWNS VS. BENGALS
Kelsey says:
Bengals 27, Browns 13
The Bengals’ offense will face a tough Browns defense. After losing in overtime to the Ravens, the Bengals need a win to stay atop the AFC North. However, I think the Browns will put up a fight but will come up short.

Calder says:
Bengals 27, Browns 17
The Bengals are having a big year with hopes for a playoff spot. Led by Andy Dalton and playing at home, the Cincinnati offense will be too much for the Browns.

RAVENS VS. BEARS
Kelsey says:
Ravens 27, Bears 24
This is a tough call. The Ravens have not looked good so far this season, but if Joe Flacco and the offense can get themselves together I think they’ll do well. Jay Cutler left last week’s game with an ankle injury, so he may or may not play. I think it will come down to a Justin Tucker field goal.

Calder says:
Ravens 27, Bears 30
The Bears had a tough loss last week to division rival Detroit Lions, and the Ravens won over the Bengals. Playing at home and hungry to bounce back to stay at the top of the NFC North, the Bears will come away with a statement win.

LIONS VS. STEELERS
Kelsey says:
Lions 23, Steelers 17
Last week, the Steelers easily beat the Bills, and the Lions pulled off a win against the Bears in Chicago. I think the outstanding passing game of the Lions will outdo the Steelers defense. The Steelers offense will be able to get some points on the board, but will not be able to match Calvin Johnson’s abilities.

Calder says:
Lions 30, Steelers 17
The Lions, led by QB Matthew Stafford, are at the top of the NFC North division and will continue their goal to fly into the playoffs and defeat a struggling Steelers team.

RAIDERS VS. TEXANS
Kelsey says:
Raiders 13, Texans 17
Even though the Texans are the top-ranked defense in the league, they’ll give up some points early. However, I think they’ll make up for it on offense later in the game. I don’t think the Raiders will get very far with the worst-ranked passing in the league, so I’m going with the Texans.

Calder says:
Raiders 20, Texans 10
Both teams are trying to stay alive. The Raiders lost their second straight game to the New York Giants. The Texans are having a disappointing season and won’t be able to stop the Raiders.

CARDINALS VS. JAGUARS
Kelsey says:
Cardinals 30, Jaguars 13
After a surprising upset of the Titans last week, I think the Jaguars will take another loss in this game. They’re ranked in the bottom 10 in offense, passing, rushing, and defense. I don’t see how they’ll be able to handle the Cardinals.

Calder says:
Cardinals 20, Jaguars 13
Arizona with a win over Houston is at 5-4 and will continue their trend to chase a playoff spot.

REDSKINS VS. EAGLES
Kelsey says:
Redskins 31, Eagles 28
These two offensive powerhouses will be back-and-forth for the entire game. If RGIII and Nick Folk are healthy, the quarterbacks will lead their teams in a heavy battle. It will be a close one, but I think the Redskins will pull off the upset on the road.

Calder says:
Redskins 27, Eagles 24
This game will be a huge battle in the NFC East. Both teams are looking to keep their playoff dreams alive. The Redskins need a bounce back after their heartbreaking loss to the Vikings. The Eagles and Nick Folk will lose to the Redskins this week.

FALCONS VS. BUCCANEERS
Kelsey says:
Falcons 24, Buccaneers 14
The Bucs have had a rough season, to say the least. They did get their first win on Monday night though. Matt Ryan and the Falcons are coming off a tough loss to the 9-1 Seahawks, and I think they’ll be able to use their passing game to get the win.

Calder says:
Falcons 10, Buccaneers 7
These two teams don’t have much to lose. The Falcons are having a disappointing season after so much hype last year. The Buccaneers are in a slump.

CHARGERS VS. DOLPHINS
Kelsey says:
Chargers 17, Dolphins 14
After a loss to the Broncos last week, the Chargers need to win to have a slight chance at the playoffs later this season. I think Phillip Rivers and the Chargers’ offense will outplay the Dolphins’ defense and come away victorious.

Calder says:
Chargers 38, Dolphins 23
The Chargers are hungry to get a big victory after losing a close game to the Broncos at home this past Sunday.

PACKERS VS. GIANTS
Kelsey says:
Giants 27, Packers 24
The loss of Aaron Rodgers will seriously affect the dynamic of the Packers team. The Giants have been winning after starting 0-6, and I think they’ll be able to get another one this week.

Calder says:
Giants 31, Packers 23
The Giants have turned things around as usual. With their third win today over the Raiders they will continue to keep their playoff hopes alive with a Packers squad without Aaron Rodgers.

VIKINGS VS. SEAHAWKS
Kelsey says:
Seahawks 41, Vikings 14
The Seahawks are on fire this season with only one loss. The Vikings have Adrian Peterson, but that will only get them so far. They lack depth on defense, so I think the Seahawks will get the victory at home.
Calder says:
Seahawks 27, Vikings 17
The Seahawks now 9-1 are the best team in the NFC. Both their defense and offense have proved this in all of their games. The Seahawks have not lost a game at home yet.

49ERS VS. SAINTS
Kelsey says:
49ers 35, Saints 38
This should be a good game to watch. While the 49ers do not have as much of a passing game as the Saints, they do have Colin Kaepernick. As a mobile quarterback, he’ll make it interesting for the Saints defense. I think this will be a nail-biter and will come down to a field goal, possibly in overtime.

Calder says:
49ers 27, Saints 20
Both teams are led by two elite quarterbacks, Colin Kaepernick and Drew Brees. Both teams are at the top of their division.

CHIEFS VS. BRONCOS
Kelsey says:
Chiefs 24, Broncos 35
I have to go with the Broncos on this one. Yes, the Chiefs are undefeated, but look at who they have played this season. They’ve had it fairly easy for nine weeks. They will not be able to outdo Peyton Manning and the Broncos’ explosive offense.

Calder says:
Chiefs 34, Broncos 27
Both teams have had great seasons so far. Probably the most surprising is the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs coached by Andy Reid. This will be a huge Sunday showdown that everyone will be looking forward to.

Monday 11/18

PATRIOTS VS. PANTHERS
Kelsey says:
Patriots 30, Panthers 21
Even though Cam Newton is a versatile quarterback, he won’t be able to match the numbers Tom Brady is capable of putting up, especially with Rob Gronkowski back. The Pats’ defense will give up some points, but will rebound on offense and win.

Calder says:
Patriots 20, Panthers 23
The Carolina Panthers have been impressive this season led by quarterback Cam Newton. They will win and continue their road to the playoffs.
