McDaniel IPO Caters to a Global Crowd

Students chat about studying abroad at the IPO's Global Cafe.

Hill Hall’s first floor lounge was buzzing Monday evening with conversation about trips to foreign countries and taking classes in different languages, as the International Programs Office hosted a Global Café. Students sat and chatted over treats and hot drinks about their experiences studying around the world or discussed future plans to do so.

The goal of creating this café atmosphere is to get students and faculty to share their experiences and gain information about opportunities to study abroad. The IPO is planning to continue hosting these events throughout the spring semester in addition to their other events, Pizza & Passports and the IPO Movie Night.

All of these programs are free and open to international students, previous and potential study abroaders, faculty, and any globally minded students in general. For further information, contact You can also find the IPO on Facebook.
