Do you like space planning, color palettes, and interior design? Do you watch too much HGTV? Is your dorm room just pretty awesome?
If you’re a resident of North Village or Gardens, you can enter photos of your dorm room to the McDaniel Design Star competition!
“We’re looking for students to be creative,” said Ben Cowman, the area coordinator for independent living.
Send at least one photo to ejs007 by Wednesday, Sept. 5 to enter. Winners will be announced the next day at Quazy in the Quad, which will be from 5-7 in the North Village quad. Be sure to plan on the judges coming to your room during the day on Thursday if you make it to the top three!
Cowman explained that nothing like this has been done before, and depending on how the event goes, it may be adapted for future use.
One lucky winner will receive a $20 gift certificate to the book store.
